OUR PEOPLE

Benjamin Bridge is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace environment. This includes providing robust health and wellness benefits to our team, supporting flexible work schedules, promoting ongoing education and personal growth, and actively engaging with the local community through mandated volunteership. We are a hard-working collective of people who share the desire for a better future.

OUR PRODUCT

We set out in 1999 with a singular vision: to craft exceptional traditional method sparkling wines with a clear and undeniable mark of Nova Scotia's terroir. Through tireless innovation and radical risk-taking, we have diversified our portfolio to now include category-defying wines and a full non-alcoholic program to make our winery experience welcoming to all.

OUR PLACE

Sikunema'katik, Mi'kma'ki

Our role as land stewards of 170 acres of the Gaspereau Valley is a great responsibility. We practice regenerative farming in our vineyard, prioritising soil health, carbon sequestration, water management, and emissions reduction over high yields. Alongside the vineyard, we manage a biodiversity program that includes an apiary, organic culinary garden, and pollinator gardens.

We are formal allies of Glooscap First Nation on whose ancestral and unceded territory the vineyards are planted. We are all treaty people.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILTY

Commitment to Sustainability: Benjamin Bridge is dedicated to integrating sustainability into its daily operations, weaving it into the fabric of everyday life. This involves a combination of immediate adjustments, long-term planning, continuous improvement, and open communication with team members and the community. Our sustainability committee plays an integral role in identifying and implementing improvements.
